IE full form is The Indian Engineering Service, candidate require to be eligible in order to apply for the recruitment. The eligibility criteria of IES are mentioned below.

– In order to apply for the IES, a candidate must be a citizen of India or a subject of Nepal, Bhutan, or Tibet having an eligibility certificate which is issued by the government of India. – The age of the candidates must be between 21 to 30 years. – A candidate must have a degree in engineering or a diploma in engineering from a recognized University. The candidate should also have a graduate degree.

UPSE IES Salary Class 1 officers are paid according to the 7th pay commission. The basic pay ranges from Rs 15,600 -39,100 They are also eligible for various allowances like HRA, Gratuity, dearness allowance, medical facility, leave encashment, and a lot more.
